Book Review || The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success By Deepak Chopra

I stumbled across Deepak Chopra's eBook 'The seven spiritual laws of success' through the help of a friend (Hello friend...thank you) during the week and I deeply love and appreciate the powerful words of wisdom in it, if you haven't read it please do so. Been thinking of doing book reviews on the blog for a long time now but I have been a bit skeptical about it because it's a lot of hard work and if not carefully done, one could get into trouble.

But I think it's a great idea all the same, because I may have a library of great books that someone doesn't have and may want to pick up lessons from. And people can get the opportunity to have insights on what a particular book is about. You guys also get to contribute, share your thoughts and ideas on what book I could review next, give the book either a thumb up or a thumb down, recommend it for someone or get useful information from it. So yes, I will be doing book reviews once every month on this blog.

This book is basically about the spiritual approaches to achieve success and affluence in life, his teachings are so powerful and like he said, this is a book you will truly cherish for a life time.

1. The law of pure potentiality: If you have the desire, you have the ability to manifest that desire. The source of all creation is pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest. And when we realize that our true self is one of potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe. Everything is possible!

2. The law of giving: If you want joy, give joy to others, if you want love, learn to give love, give what you want to see. Givers truly never lack!

3. The law of "KARMA" or cause and effect : Whatever you sow, you will reap. Your choices of today can affect your tomorrow, so plant good seeds now.

4. The law of least effort: Grass doesn't try to grow, it just grows. Fishes doesn't try to swim, they just swim. Practice acceptance, responsibility, and defenselessness. Be everything you want to be.

5. The law of intention and desire: That one pointed intention, that quality of attention that is unbending in its fixity of purpose.

6. The law of detachment: In order to acquire anything, you have to relinquish your attachment to it.

7. The law of "DHARMA" or purpose in life: Everyone has a purpose in life, a unique gift or special talent to give to others. You are here for a reason!

Who else has read the book and would love to make contributions? please feel free to share your comments with me below. And don't forget to drop ideas on what next book I should review on the blog, thank you.

Have a blessed day:)
