Cell Phone Hacks Every One Needs To Know

This post was inspired by Cosmopolitan www.cosmopolitan.com I found the advice on their site very useful and I am certain it will help you guys.

1. Hide your cash or ID cards in between your phone and the phone case. I often do this especially when where I am going is not safe and requires no handbag.

2. Change your phone background to a photo of your name and an emergency contact number in case you lose your phone. Type it into your notes app, take a screenshot, and change it to your lock screen. And then just hope that the person who finds your phone is a good Samaritan.

3. Screenshot travel directions and then turn off your Internet to save battery. Y'all know screenshots save lives, many blessings upon whoever created or initiated it. Don't drain all your battery by relying on GPS during the drive to the venue. Instead, turn off your location services after taking the screenshot and refer to photos of the directions.

4. Switch your phone to airplane mode to make it charge faster. Who else has noticed this is very true. If you don't want to switch off your phone while charging and you want it to charge faster, you can just switch to airplane mode.

5. Have your friend hold their phone's flashlight in front of what you're trying to shoot for extra lighting and brighter photos.

6. Cover the microphone when filming a video to make the sound clearer when you watch it. This usually helps eliminate some of the annoying, fuzzy sound around  when recording.

 7. If you've found the perfect camera angle but can't reach the shutter button, try plugging in original earbuds and using the volume buttons on the cord instead. This is a great tip especially if you are a not too tall person.

8. Use your selfie stick to take photos of where you are when you can't see over a crowd of people.

9. Turn off cellular data usage for certain apps and features that you won't be needing to save battery. Go to the Cellular or Data Usage tab under your phone's Settings, and switch off cellular data for specific apps that use a lot of your data. It really does save up battery.

10. Use the front camera on your phone for softer photos and the main camera to take more detailed shots. Pictures taken with the front camera have an airbrushed effect (great for selfies) while the main camera is much sharper and better for taking distance shots.
