A lot of us marvel and wonder at what it is that makes one a true success, while some of us desire to know their daily habits and routines because that’s where their secret lies. This is true because our habits and daily routines forms us into what we become.
The morning hours has proven to be the most productive hour of the day especially for CEOs and serious minded people. In this post, I shared 5 major things successful people do before the day gets busy and I hope it will push you towards achieving your goals this week.
1. Spend time alone/Pray
Becoming a true success requires separation and visualization because it will take you to actualize some certain things alone. Therefore, it’s important you spend the early hours of your day communing with God in prayer or meditation for direction and guidance. It gives you a special kind of confidence and assurance to boldly face life.
2. Listen to Podcast/Inspiring message
I do this everyday and I must say it has developed me into a stronger and fearless person. Living life, going out there to face the world and all of it’s troubles scares me but I wake up and live anyway with so much confidence because of what I listen to and feed on daily. If you don’t feed on the right things, you will always get it wrong. Our minds are very powerful and what we listen to shapes us in one way or the other.
3. Plan/Review Your Goals
If you don’t plan, you plan to fail. I advise you write out all what you want to achieve daily/weekly/monthly and review them before the next day/week/month. It works like magic because it has helped me focus on the necessary things. It also helps you prioritize your day to day schedules.
4. Read
Readers are leaders and if you sincerely desire to lead someday, you must learn to read a lot. Develop a love for reading something everyday. Pick insightful books in your area of influence and read. By reading, you can learn from the experiences and mistakes of others.
5. Exercise
Your body needs you strong and healthy. I never thought this mattered until I discovered the health benefits and how effective it was. Exercise has been proven to improve your mood and decrease feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress. It helps your brain process things faster, makes your skin glow, and improves memory. Work out something everyday.
