Interested in knowing what it takes to move your blog to the next level and impact more lives in the new year? Keep reading…

1. Invest in an online blog training and professional course

If you are really serious about taking your blog to the next level in the new year, then be ready to pay the price for all it takes. Don’t assume mastery and claim you know everything; even the best of us still invest in eBooks, online courses, and pay heavily for private mentorship programs. If you can relate to my blog story, then you will understand that the only way to grow is to learn from people who have been where you are and understand what it takes to get you to the next level. You can join my online course for bloggers starting February 21st – 23rd here. Early bird offer expires January 31st, 2020.

2. Have a goal workbook for 2020

A workbook is simply a document containing a collection of electronic spreadsheets to aid your work and programs. It usually contains a set of questions where you fill in the gap with correct answers and solve practical problems in the book.

Having a goal workbook will help you create actionable goals that will grow your blog and help you achieve more within a set time. It will keep you motivated, focused, and productive for the task ahead. With my goal work book in place last year, I had more traffic, more email subscribers, and more income. It redefined my strategies, held me accountable and made me hit deadlines set for my blog. Grab the goal workbook for a little amount here.

3. Grow your blog audience and develop an impact strategy

This is the part where you create strategies to grow your influence and blog traffic. Social media, email marketing, sales strategy, digital marketing, etc.  Go check out what other bloggers in your niche are doing to grow their audience and create more engagement on their page. Learn from them and develop yours. The goal is to get a good number of people to know you, like you and trust you. Once people know, like and trust you, they connect easily with you and before you know it, you already have a place in their heart. The moment they realize the stuff you are made of and the value you put out there, they cannot ignore you.

4. Join a blogging tribe

As a blogger, it is very wrong to build in isolation. It slows down your growth and reduces the level of things you would have achieved if you had a tribe. The same way it’s good to have a tribe of friends who support and cheer you on in life is the same way you need a tribe of blogging friends who got your back. This is why Influencer Bloggers Academy was created, but some of you are too shy to post contents there, share your blog journey with others, and ask for open feedback and corrections. Stop outdoing yourself.

Did I mention how I collaborated with an American psychologist sometimes back as a result of my comment on a top blogger page. That female psychologist mentioned my blog in her website and book. You can imagine the traffic that alone brings to my blog. If you must grow online, you got to make successful blogging connections.

You also have to come out of your shell, stop being afraid to reach out to bloggers you love and admire. Connect with people and build blogging relationships with experts in your niche. Mention them in your blog and appreciate their work, tweet to them, offer collaboration request, engage with their posts online, leave thoughtful comments on their blog. The worst you can get is a NO and that is not the end of the world. Rejection redirects you to something better. If you persist long enough, you will get what you want. Feel free to join my growing community for bloggers here.

5. Monetize your products and services

More than treating your blog as a hobby, you should have a monetization plan. How skillful are you at what you do? What do you know that others are willing to pay for? What can you sell to your audience? How will it benefit your audience? Do you have a clear idea of what your audience needs? How you can offer it to them in such a way that it will be different from your competitors? What strategies have you mastered and put in place to grow your blog and sell the services you render there?

All this and many more are the questions you need to answer in order to take your blog to the next level in 2020. You need to understand the business side to blogging and the effective marketing strategies to monetize your knowledge and skills.

So, tell me – did you set blog goals for last year? Were you able to follow through with all of them? My Goal workbook for bloggers will show you strategic ways to set goals for your blog in 2020, follow through with them, and achieve your blog dreams for the new year.

I used these same strategies last year and my blog got recognized as one of the top 50 inspirational blogs on the web. The same strategies landed me affiliate opportunities from top companies like Expertido, Quality guest posts, Payper content, etc.
