Whether it’s following a treatment plan, taking medication, or simply getting plenty of rest, you should listen to what they have to say. It’s still ultimately your decision what type of treatment you want to have, but your doctor will give you their professional opinion and recommendation.
Stay Hydrated and Eat Right
Your diet can make a difference in how well your body is able to fight off an illness. Your diet can help to support your immune system and give you more energy. Many people even look for cancer fighting foods to help them stay as healthy as possible while receiving cancer treatment.
In addition to your diet, staying hydrated is also important. The recommended amount is eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day for adults. This may seem like a lot, but you should be drinking throughout the day. It’s especially important if you’re ill, especially if you might be losing fluids.

Allow Yourself Enough Rest
However, if you force yourself to start getting back to normal before you’re ready, you might simply be extending your illness.
